A new law is any change to the legal system that has been passed by Congress or state legislatures and has not yet been signed into effect by the President or Governor. The change could be an amendment to a statute, an addition of a new section or paragraph, a new definition or simply a revision to existing language in the text.

Ogletree Deakins tracks the most significant legal changes on a daily basis and provides updates through its Background Checks, Drug Testing, Employment Law, Family Leave, Multistate Compliance, Pay Equity, Wage and Hour, and Workplace Safety and Health blogs.
